Day two, part one:So far it has been a very interesting day! We took a van ride to the Pathaya babies home. They moved it to a new location on the outskirts of Bangkok. The new location is much bigger and quieter then when Philip and Thomas lived there. It is very clean and very nice. The nannies were so excited to see both boys. It was amazing how they remembered even Philip who was adopted 5 1/2 years ago!
I guess they don't get allot of people who return for a visit. The guide also told me the number of US adoptions has gone way down. The children are being very well cared for, and are so sweet! If you are considering adoption from Thailand, I encourage you to do it!
Thomas was a little nervous this morning. He began the visit very "stand offish". He really warmed up as he realized how kind these nannies are. They where so happy to see him! Towards the end of our visit we saw Philips old nanny! She recognized him and came running. It was so cool, because Philip also recognized her and gave her the biggest hug! I am so glad we made this trip!

Note: Nicole and I were talking about the trip to the orphanage. She had forgotten her sunglasses in one of the rooms we visited. Juergen had been playing with a boy in a blue shirt. When she returned for her glasses, she saw this boy crying uncontrollably. The nannies could not calm him. He had wanted to go with us! I don't care how great an orphanage is...it will never replace a family!
