The classic fairy tale castle is Neuschwanstein in the south of Germany. It was built by a crazy king named Ludwig II. Ludwig was reclusive. He even had a dinning room table that would lift up from the floor (pre- set of course) so he did not need to see his servants. He would not invite noble people to visit him. Two weeks after his mysterious death, the castle became a tourist attraction.
